Client & Session Information

Yes, Rosheen is in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, and several other insurance carriers. She’s happy to help you understand and use your insurance benefits when you schedule a session.
While Rosheen offers both counseling and coaching, insurance only covers counseling sessions, as they involve a clinical mental health diagnosis. Coaching focuses on personal growth, goal-setting, and well-being, which are not covered by insurance companies. Coaching is considered a non-medical service, and therefore insurance providers do not reimburse for it.
Typically, sessions are 50 minutes long, though longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Coaching sessions may vary depending on the goals being addressed, and we can discuss what works best for your specific needs during our initial consultation.
The number of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Some clients may find short-term counseling or coaching sufficient, while others may prefer ongoing support over a longer period of time. We’ll work together to create a plan that feels right for you and reassess as needed to ensure you’re getting the most out of our time together.
You can easily schedule a session by contacting Rosheen through her website, or by reaching out via phone or email. We’ll coordinate a time that works for you and discuss whether you’re looking for counseling or coaching, as well as your preferred session format—whether it’s in person or virtual.
Coaching vs. Counseling
Counseling with Rosheen focuses on addressing mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, and trauma by exploring past experiences and healing emotional wounds. It often involves a diagnosis and is usually covered by insurance. Coaching, on the other hand, is more about personal development, goal-setting, and achieving success in areas like relationships, career, or self-growth. It’s future-focused, not covered by insurance, and designed for individuals who are emotionally stable but seeking guidance and motivation to reach their full potential.
Yes, we can discuss transitioning from counseling to coaching or from coaching to counseling based on your evolving needs. It’s important to note that insurance will only cover counseling services and not coaching, so any transition may impact your payment method. We can explore these options in more detail together if your goals or focus change.

However, if you need psychiatric care, I collaborate with several trusted psychiatrists in the Mansfield, Arlington, and DFW Metroplex areas, and I can provide referrals when needed. While medication can help manage symptoms, our work together will focus on addressing the underlying issues, exploring your behavior, and equipping you with strategies to help you reach your personal or relational goals.
Your first session with Rosheen will focus on getting to know you, understanding your goals, and identifying any challenges you’re currently facing. Whether it’s counseling or coaching, this initial meeting helps lay the foundation for our work together and allows us to develop a tailored approach to support your journey moving forward.
